Reginald D. Walton was born August 7, 1976 in Berkeley, CA.He received his elementary education in the Richmond Unified School District and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. Rev. Walton then received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Miles College in Birmingham, AL where he graduated with honors. He then earned a Master of Divinity degree at the Phillips School of Theology at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA in and is now a Doctoral Student at The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA in Pastoral Care.

Rev. Walton accepted the call to serve God’s people in July of 2001. Since then, he has served across the country as an assistant to the pastor, Pastoral Intern and Senior Pastor. Currently, Rev. Walton serves as senior pastor of Phillips Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church-Phoenix, Arizona. He is also an Ordained Traveling Elder in Full Connection in the Christian Methodist

Episcopal Church. His other accomplishments include:

  • Host of Real Talk with Rev. Reg, a social issues radio show on

       Gospel 860AM from 2016-2017.

  • Political Action and Religious Affairs Chairperson for the Maricopa County Branch of the NAACP from 2012-2016.

  • Serves on the board of the City of Phoenix Human Relations Commission,

  • Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

  • Author of the book Dare to Dream: Watch God Do the Rest!

  • 2017 Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals 40 under 40 Award;

  • 2017 National Action Network Arizona Chapter Civil Rights Person of the Year

  • 2015 Maricopa County NAACP Image Award for Religion;

  •  2011 Sacramento Observer Group Glory Award;

  • 2005 induction into the World methodist Council's Order of the Flame

  • Who’s Who among America’s Colleges and Universities 2005
